In Book One, titled “NickGyver Revealed, the Battle Begins”, Nick’s small village in Yugoslavia along with his birth parents have been wiped out by rebel mercenaries.
Nick is adopted at age 4 by John and Andrea Jameson in Hardtford, Connecticut. On Nick’s solitary 100 mile trek across mountainous terrain to the international airport,
his adoptive parent’s prayers are answered for Nick’s safety when angels protect him from robbers.
During his flight over to the States, Nick learns to speak Latin, Greek, English and French. Nick also brings with him on his flight his homemade super high tech computer,
short wave radio and satellite communicating equipment which he made from parts scrounged from scrap yards and wrecks of military planes he discovered while playing
outside his little village in the mines and caves.
Because of Nick’s desire to serve others, he troubleshoots a short wave radio for a customer at the local Radio Shack and is offered the position of consultant for the
store in exchange for electronic parts. The store manager gives Nick the nickname of NickGyver.
A 1994 Lincoln Continental that has defective air shocks is donated to Nick by his father’s boss (at the college he teaches at). Nick invents a new shock absorber system
using electro-magnetics which he installs on all four wheels of his new Lincoln. He hires a chauffeur to drive his Lincoln whose name just so happens to be Abraham.
Nick receives a letter from the New World Order asking him to join their cause for a one–world government, offering to give him everything he ever dreamed about and
more, including funds which he had specifically prayed for to develop and market his new inventions, but he is convicted by the Holy Spirit through memorized scripture that
this offer is not from God, so he turns it down.
The New World Order tries numerous times to kill Nick because of his refusal to join their cause.
Nick’s life is continually at risk and further attempts on his life are made by national power conglomerates because of his new invention of the Stray Voltage Reclamation
system which reclaimed lost energy from radiated stray power from inefficient power company power lines and hundreds of years of radio and TV signals floating around in
the atmosphere.
Nick is asked by the President of the United States to come up with an early warning system for earthquakes and is selected to be the advisor to a number of important
national safety committees. Nick continues to develop his computer, which he named Einstein, into a talking, quite human-like entity, which becomes his major tool in holding
the New World Order at bay.
Nick designs an artificial moon that he launches into space with the aid of NASA which sole purpose is to turn a remote ice-covered island 200 miles from Iceland owned by
billionaire retirees into a year-round paradise with a constant temperature of 80 degrees.
Nick has a “mountaintop experience” which confirms his son ship of God.
Nick’s computer Einstein develops holograph images that can travel through his Stray Power network system and any other electrical systems world wide for use in spying on
the New World Order and for protection of Christians.
Nick discovers that his adopted father had another son, then 33 years old who had been living apart with his divorced and remarried mother for the past 29 years. JM, as
they called him, because of his jealousy of Nick’s notoriety and national recognition as being a super brain and his own desire to be once again involved in his father’s life,
attempted to destroy Nick to get his father’s love back by using one of Nick’s inventions against him, gets caught and is imprisoned. Nick and his father visit JM in prison
and JM accepts Christ as his savior through the prompting of Nick. After JM gets out on parole, he is invited to live with Nick and his adopted parents. JM goes to work
with Nick in his high tech business ventures as a communications expert. The head of the FBI, a man named Steve becomes unwittingly involved in a meeting in Greece
with the head of the New World Order and given the ultimatum of either joining the group or dying. An angel named Tim saves Steve’s life. Steve escapes on the next flight
out of Greece back to the states, wondering who would believe his story about being saved by an angel.
